Soumya Mishra and Sumegha Mishra are siblings. They hail from Ajaypur village, Ashoha block, Unnao district, UP. Their father Raghavendra Kumar Mishra is a teacher and has been living in Delhi since the past 27 years. Elder sister Soumya Mishra completed her training as SDM in 2021 by succeeding in PCS and at present she is SDM in Mirzapur district. 

Soumya secured 18th rank in All India IAS list in her fourth attempt. Her younger sister Sumegha Mishra cracked the IAS exam in her second attempt. Sumegha ranked 253rd.

Visually impaired Ravi Raj from Nawada cracked the UPSC 2025 with 182nd rank

Visually impaired Ravi Raj from Nawada, Bihar, cracked the UPSC exam with an impressive 182nd rank. Supported by his mother, Vibha Sinha, who read aloud and wrote his answers, Ravi studied 10 hours daily despite his disability. While cooking, his mother played YouTube lectures for him. Later, Ravi would speak his answers aloud, and she would write them down. Together, mother and son battled every obstacle.
