Amrapali Gan has been promoted to the role of CEO at OnlyFans.

She previously worked as Chief Marketing and Communications Officer for OnlyFans since 2020.

Most of her life has been spent in California, where she currently lives.

OnlyFans has appointed Amrapali "Ami" Gan as its new CEO after the company with over a billion-dollar valuation saw its founder Tim Stokely step off the helm to pursue other endeavours. Since the announcement, the Internet has been abuzz with the question - who exactly is Ami Gan, and what is her background, including her India connection?

That is right. Ami Gan is yet another CEO of a major company who has Indian roots. With her new role, she will be joining a long list of Indians who have made it to the top of their company's management. Some of the famous names in this list are Sundar Pichai, Satya Nadella, Indra Nooyi, Arvind Krishna and most recently, Parag Agrawal.

Who is Amrapali Gan?

The new OnlyFans CEO is an ace marketer who was born in Mumbai, India. Other than this, Gan has little mention of the country in her records. Her early, as well as higher education, has been from California, US, where she still lives.

Her educational background reflects a total of three degrees. She earned her Associate of Arts degree in Merchandise Marketing from FIDM, following which she pursued a Bachelor of Arts in PR and Organisational Communications from California State University. She attained her Certificate of Entrepreneurship from Harvard Business School Online.

Ami Gan is currently 36 years old and single. Her LinkedIn profile shows that other than her role as the CEO of OnlyFans, Gan has also worked as a consultant with Arcade Agency for the past 

Before being appointed as the CEO, Ami Gan served as the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer for OnlyFans since 2020. Before that, she worked as the Vice President of Marketing & Publicity with Cannabis Cafe, the first cannabis restaurant in the US, for a year. She also worked as the Director of Communications at Lowell Herb Co. for less than a year.

She also worked for about two years with Red Bull Media House as its Brand Activation & Communications Manager. Before that, she worked in marketing roles at several startups from 2008 to 2016.

Amrapali Gan: Public figure?

Ami Gan has little online presence on social media platforms, and no mentions in media reports prior to the recent appointment. This hints that Gan has not been much of a public figure up until now.

She does have her own OnlyFans account, where she shares moments from her personal and professional life with her fanbase. However, this account does not seem to be much active, with posts dating far and wide and reactions only a handful.
